Bodor Laser is proud to announce a key milestone in its global manufacturing strategy: the full-scale operation of its Smart Factory, the core production facility within Bodor Dream Park—the company's global headquarters in Jinan, China.

Officially launched in December 2024, the Smart Factory is already home to over a dozen automated production lines, driving significant progress in Bodor's ability to meet international demand through faster, smarter, and more reliable equipment delivery.

World-Class Manufacturing Base for Laser Innovation

Occupying nearly 80,000 square meters, the Smart Factory is a key part of the larger Dream Park project, covering 250,000 square meters of building space and backed by a 1 billion RMB (approx. 140 million USD) investment. The factory is dedicated to the intelligent manufacturing of high-power laser cutting machines, automatic devices, and core optical components, positioning Bodor as a leader in laser technology.

Designed for lean, digital, and scalable manufacturing, the facility is one of the largest and most advanced single-site laser equipment plants in the world, with an annual capacity of 23,000 units. Notably, the factory enables full in-house production of core components—laser sources, laser heads, and control systems—ensuring consistent performance, superior quality control, and greater supply chain independence.

Accelerating Delivery Through Intelligent Production

As the first company in the industry to implement true assembly-line production, Bodor has developed a production system designed to meet global demand with increased speed and precision. Key features include:

• Standardized modular workstations to shorten cycle times and increase throughput

• Self-developed MES and WMS systems enabling real-time scheduling and digital traceability

• Cleanroom production zones for critical components like laser heads and laser sources

• Dedicated trial-production areas for faster product validation and customized solutions

This integrated model allows Bodor to fulfill large-scale and high-precision orders from around the world with shorter lead times, higher consistency, and lower operational risk.

Complementing the Smart Factory, the East Zone of Dream Park—now structurally complete—is progressing toward operational readiness. As a multifunctional campus designed to support R&D, global collaboration, and enterprise growth, it will feature a 26-story tower for employee accommodation and client hospitality, along with a spaceship-inspired headquarters building designed for up to 5,000 professionals. Together with other planned facilities, this expansion will amplify Bodor's innovation engine and strengthen its global service infrastructure.
